1- Do I need a credit card to rent a car?
No, you can make payments in cash. We only ask that you register your credit card in our system to pay any traffic fines, but this is not mandatory.
2- How do I pay for the car reservation?
We have a few payment options for vehicle rentals: • Cash (US dollars) • ZELLE (transfer between US accounts) • US credit card (single installment with 2.9% fee) • ApplePay, CashApp (payment apps) • PIX (transfer between accounts in Brazil, with admin fee) • Brazilian credit card in up to 12 installments (with admin fee). We charge only 30% at the time of reservation and 70% up to one week before vehicle pick-up. (option not valid for payments made in Brazil). We accept all debit and credit cards, including digital accounts.
3- Do I need to have an International Driving License or Permit?
No, but the contracting driver and additional drivers must have a valid document issued at least 1 year ago, which must be presented at the time of receiving the vehicle, or present photos in case of remote delivery. Drivers who have a driver’s license issued by a country other than the United States must present a valid passport.
4- What is the minimum age to rent a car?
The minimum age to rent a car is 21. For some car categories and models, a minimum age of 25 may be required to rent.
